From learning about the 8 disciplines of social studies to learning about ancient Mesopotamia, I have learned much this year already. I still have a lot to learn in social studies but this is what I have done so far. We have learned about the Early Hominid groups leading up to our present day humans. These hominid groups evolved and moved into new areas before the stone age. The stone age consisted of the Paleolithic and Neolithic eras. the Neolithic age is when they started agriculture. Agriculture was basically the start of farming and the domestication of animals. we then learned that after the stone age the people began to form city-states and we learned about Ancient Mesopotamia. Mesopotamia had four main problems in which they had to go through. In conclusion, I have learned so much this year already and I can't wait to learn more.
